WisePay pricing is harder to pin down than a single monthly subscription fee.
Depending on the MSP and its agreement, the total cost often includes WisePay software, credit card processing, ACH processing, synchronization costs, onboarding fees, monthly processing minimums, and other processor charges.
WisePay's current pricing page does not publish a standard monthly subscription price. Instead, ConnectWise asks businesses to provide information about their needs to receive a customized offer.
Here's exactly what MSPs should know about WisePay pricing, processing rates, synchronization costs, and other potential fees.
Quick answer: WisePay does not currently publish one standard monthly subscription price for all MSPs. The total cost can include WisePay software, credit card and ACH processing fees, synchronization costs, monthly minimums, onboarding fees, and other applicable processor charges. The exact amount depends on the MSP's individual WisePay and merchant agreements.
How much does WisePay cost?
There isn't one standard WisePay monthly price that applies to every MSP.
WisePay's current pricing page describes its pricing as flexible and directs prospective customers to sales for an offer based on their business needs. It also notes that businesses using other ConnectWise products may be able to save by bundling.
Some WisePay agreements and market reports include arrangements with little or no meaningful standalone WisePay SaaS charge, while others put WisePay or bundled WisePay/Wise-Sync costs around $197 per month. Wise-Sync alone has also been reported at approximately $200 to $250 per month.
These are not WisePay's current list prices, just examples of how individual agreements can vary depending on when they were signed, ConnectWise bundling, processing arrangements, and synchronization requirements.
But the monthly software charge is only one part of the total cost.
WisePay credit card processing fees
WisePay's current pricing page says its payment processing fees are transparent, but it does not display specific North American card rates on the page itself.
Instead, ConnectWise directs businesses to request a customized WisePay offer.
WisePay’s former North American pricing page listed a 3.5% processing rate plus $0.35 per transaction for Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Diners Club transactions, along with a $10 monthly credit card processing minimum.
At a 3.5% rate plus $0.35 per transaction, processing $50,000 across 100 card transactions would equal approximately $1,785 in processing fees. At $100,000 across 200 transactions, the same pricing structure would equal approximately $3,570.
The monthly minimum works differently from a subscription fee. If an MSP's applicable processing fees don't reach the contractual minimum in a given month, the minimum still applies.
It's also worth noting that Global Payments is part of WisePay's U.S. payment-processing infrastructure, and processor-level charges may also apply depending on the merchant agreement.
When reviewing a WisePay quote or existing agreement, check the percentage processing rate, per-transaction charge, monthly minimum, card-specific rates, and additional processor or network fees.
WisePay ACH processing fees
WisePay ACH pricing has varied across agreements and pricing periods.
Some WisePay pricing arrangements have used a flat fee per ACH transaction. Other agreements include a 0.5% bank payment fee capped at approximately $25 per transaction.
A $30 monthly ACH processing minimum has also appeared in WisePay pricing.
For an MSP, the structure matters just as much as the advertised rate.
With a 0.5% fee capped at $25, for example:
Once the payment reaches $5,000 in this example, the cap becomes more important than the percentage rate.
A flat transaction fee and a percentage-based ACH fee can produce very different costs even when both are described simply as “ACH pricing.”
Check your individual agreement for:
- Flat versus percentage-based ACH pricing
- Per-transaction cap
- Monthly processing minimum
- Return or failed-payment fees
- Settlement timing
Does Wise-Sync cost extra on top of WisePay?
It can.
Largely, it depends on the MSP's agreement and how its WisePay environment was originally structured.
Historically, WisePay handled payment collection while Wise-Sync synchronized financial information between systems such as ConnectWise PSA and QuickBooks Online or Xero.
ConnectWise later consolidated Wise-Sync and WisePay under the WisePay brand. WisePay's current website now describes this as integrating the PSA with the accounting platform to automate the invoice lifecycle.
The branding may be unified, but existing MSP agreements don't necessarily have identical synchronization pricing.
Historical Wise-Sync pricing has included approximately $99 per month for the first 50 synchronized invoices, plus $35 per month for each additional block of 50 invoices. Other agreements include Wise-Sync costs around $200 to $250 per month, as well as bundled WisePay and Wise-Sync arrangements around $197 per month.
The invoice-based pricing example also shows how synchronization costs could scale:
Going from 50 to 100 synchronized invoices adds $420 per year. At 150 invoices per month, the additional blocks add $840 per year over the $99 base example. At 250 invoices, they add $1,680 per year.
What additional WisePay fees should MSPs account for?
Payment processing and synchronization aren't necessarily the only costs associated with WisePay.
Setup and onboarding fees
Some WisePay/Wise-Sync agreements include setup and onboarding charges ranging from approximately $795 to $1,245.
But WisePay's current website does not publish a standard setup fee and instead directs prospective customers to sales for customized pricing.
Before calculating first-year cost, ask for any setup, implementation, merchant-account, or establishment costs in writing.
Transaction network access fees
Some Global Payments communications to WisePay customers have included a $0.15 transaction network access fee on transactions, including returns and declines.
This is a processor-level charge rather than a universal WisePay platform fee. It's another reason to review the merchant fee schedule alongside WisePay's software pricing.
At 500 applicable transactions per month, $0.15 per transaction equals $75 per month, or $900 per year. At 1,000 transactions per month, that's $150 per month, or $1,800 per year.
How to calculate the total cost of WisePay
Because WisePay pricing varies, the most useful calculation separates each part of the billing stack:
WisePay base/software cost
+ credit card processing fees
+ ACH processing fees
+ Wise-Sync/synchronization costs, if applicable
+ monthly processing minimums
+ setup and onboarding costs
+ applicable processor, network, return, or other conditional fees
= total WisePay cost
One MSP may have little or no separate WisePay SaaS charge and primarily pay processing fees, while another may pay recurring software or synchronization costs in addition to processing fees.
Invoice-based synchronization pricing can also increase alongside invoice volume.
So calculate WisePay's expected cost using your own monthly card volume, ACH volume, transaction count, synchronized invoice count, and applicable fee schedule rather than relying on what another MSP may reference as their monthly WisePay bill.
How does WisePay compare with FlexPoint?
Price is half the comparison, the other half is what the platform actually takes off your team's plate.
FlexPoint gives MSPs more than payment processing. It brings payments, billing automation, synchronization, reconciliation, client financing, and optional AR Agents into one platform, with a client experience built specifically for MSPs.
See the full FlexPoint vs. WisePay comparison
For MSPs using ConnectWise and QuickBooks Online, FlexPoint's GL Connect is included on Growth and Plus plans at no extra cost. Invoices, payments, sales tax, and credit memos sync across the two systems, with built-in error prevention and tools for identifying mismatches before they reach the books.
FlexPoint automates deposit reconciliation and includes Same-Day ACH allowances on every plan. Some MSPs evaluating a switch from WisePay have cited manual reconciliation work as a pain point in their existing setup.

For AR follow-up, FlexPoint's AR Agents add-on autonomously monitor your accounts, flag what needs attention, and handle follow-up automatically. Every capability is opt-in, with the MSP controlling the rules. Smart Invoice Follow-Up can send multi-step email reminders or voice calls on the MSP's schedule and pause when a client responds or a payment posts.
FlexPoint also gives clients a smoother payment experience. FlexPoint offers full invoice and payment history, passwordless sign-in, white-label portals using the MSP's branding and domain, and financing options up to 12 months.
Those differences matter when comparing cost because the monthly bill is only one side of the equation. The other is how much work remains with the MSP's team after the software is paid for.
What are you getting for the cost of WisePay?
Whether you're already using WisePay or considering it for the first time, start with the same question: What are you getting for the total cost?
If you're considering WisePay, build your estimate around the pricing in your actual quote. Include payment processing, synchronization, monthly minimums, setup costs, and any other applicable fees. Then compare WisePay with other MSP billing and payment platforms based on how they handle onboarding, reconciliation, payment follow-up, PSA and accounting synchronization, and the client payment experience.
If you're already using WisePay, you have an even better benchmark: your own bill and your team's experience. Look at what you're paying today alongside the work your team still handles around payments and AR. If reconciliation, client onboarding, payment follow-up, or other recurring tasks are still taking up time, there's value in seeing what a more automated platform could take off your plate.
And if you're already on WisePay, switching doesn't have to be a black box.
A little planning around stored payment methods, Automatic Payments, synchronization, and client communication can make the transition much smoother. FlexPoint's migration team will also help map out the process before cutover so your team and clients know what to expect.
Our WisePay Migration Toolkit gives you a migration checklist, vendor evaluation framework, planning roadmap, and client communication templates to help you evaluate your options and make the move.
WisePay does not currently publish a standard monthly software subscription price. An MSP’s total cost can include payment processing fees and, depending on its agreement, additional WisePay or synchronization costs. MSPs should confirm the software fees, processing rates, and included synchronization capabilities in their current WisePay and
WisePay's North American pricing page currently lists a 0.50% bank payment fee capped at $25 per transaction, along with a $30 monthly minimum processing fee. WisePay noted that these rates are indicative and subject to review, with actual rates and charges determined by the applicable Global Payments Merchant Service Agreement. Other reported WisePay arrangements have included flat-rate ACH pricing, so MSPs should verify the ACH rate, transaction cap, monthly minimum, and exception fees in their individual agreement.
WisePay and Wise-Sync were historically separate products, with Wise-Sync providing PSA and accounting synchronization. After ConnectWise acquired Wise-Sync in 2022, the Wise-Sync and WisePay brands were consolidated under WisePay in 2024. MSPs should still verify which synchronization capabilities are included in their specific WisePay package and whether their agreement includes additional synchronization fees.
