FlexPoint + Rewst: Smarter Billing, Onboarding & Renewals

MSPs are busy. Between onboarding new clients, chasing payments, and staying on top of renewals, your team has a lot going on. That’s why we teamed up with Rewst to create an integration that takes all that manual work off your plate.

By combining Rewst’s robust RPA (robotic process automation) capabilities with FlexPoint’s secure payment and AR automation platform, MSPs can completely streamline the client journey. Automate your manual tasks, from that first onboarding form to the last payment reminder. No more context-switching between tools. No more “Hey, did we ever get their card on file?”

Let’s break it down.

Use Case: Automated Client Onboarding & Payment Capture

When a new client signs up, you want them in your PSA, billing system, and payment flow as fast as possible. This integration makes that automatic.

Use Rewst to gather client info and create their record in your PSA. At the same time, FlexPoint handles the billing side and securely stores their payment method.

There are two ways to setup this workflow, which include:

Option 1: Use an Existing Rewst Form

Add a payment method field to your current Rewst client onboarding form. When a client submits it, they’re redirected to FlexPoint to enter payment info (ACH or credit card), stored securely and PCI-compliant.

Clients will be redirected to FlexPoint’s dedicated onboarding form, unique to your business.

Option 2: Create a New Financial Onboarding Form

You can also build a separate Rewst form to collect billing details and payment methods up front. Rewst creates the client in your PSA; FlexPoint maps the payment info to the new account.

Either way, you get everything you need in one step. Clients are onboarded. You’re ready to bill. Everyone’s happy.

Use Case: Enable Clients to Self-Manage Billing in Your Rewst Portal

With the Rewst App Builder, you can add a “Billing” section to your client portal. This gives clients a seamless way to view and pay invoices, add payment methods, or manage users.

How it works:

A "Billing" button in Rewst’s portal securely redirects your clients to your FlexPoint Client Portal via SSO, where they can manage payments.

In the near future, you’ll have the ability to embed the FlexPoint Client Portal directly into the Rewst portal,  via an iFrame. FlexPoint’s billing data functionalities – think invoices, saved payment methods, and user management – will appear natively inside Rewst’s portal for a competely embedded experience.

Use Case: Automated Notifications & Service Pauses for Late Payments

No one likes chasing down overdue invoices. Now you can automate the not-so-fun steps to settle late payments.

With FlexPoint and Rewst, you can trigger alerts when payments fall behind. For example, after 15 days overdue, Rewst notifies the account manager and flags the account in your PSA. Easily trigger follow-ups or pre-existing workflows based on invoice payment statuses.

You can even trigger a service banner in ConnectWise to let your team know service might be limited. For example, if a client is 30 days late, the banner could show “limited” or “no service”.

It’s proactive. It’s automated. It keeps everyone in the loop.

Use Case: Simplified Agreement and License Renewals

Renewals are another admin-heavy task that’s easy to automate with the right tools.

Rewst handles the heavy lifting in ConnectWise. It sends timely notifications to account managers or clients ahead of renewal dates with the expected percentage price increase. That increase is pulled directly from a custom field in the client record, so you don’t have to calculate or guess.

Once the renewal hits, Rewst automatically creates the updated agreement in ConnectWise, including new pricing and terms. For Microsoft 365 NCE renewals, it can also send user and license breakdowns in advance to give clients a heads-up.

As soon as the agreement is active, FlexPoint takes over on the billing side. It adjusts invoices automatically to reflect the new terms, with no manual updates needed. Your pricing stays accurate and your invoices go out on time.

The TL;DR of this automation:

Agreement Renewals:

  • Sends alerts to account managers and/or clients X-days before renewal.
  • Includes custom fields like percentage-based price increases.
  • Automatically generates the new agreement in ConnectWise.
  • FlexPoint invoices the client, as usual.

Microsoft 365 NCE Renewals:

  • Sends renewal reminders.
  • Includes user and license type breakdowns.
  • Syncs to your PSA automatically.

You get a clean, consistent renewal process without the last-minute scramble.

A Better Experience for Everyone

FlexPoint and Rewst give you clean, efficient billing workflows that remove friction for both your team and your clients. You onboard faster, get paid on time, and stay ahead of renewals.

MSPs can expect improved performance with these joint solutions, including:

  • Shorter time-to-payment
  • Less manual entry = fewer errors
  • Better client experience from day one
  • Improved cash flow and visibility

If you already use Rewst and FlexPoint, these use cases are ready to implement. If not, let’s talk about how to get started.
