Faster payments. Less manual billing.

My name is Riley Gillman, and I lead Customer Success Enablement & Operations at FlexPoint! I'm based in Surf City, NC (just north of Wilmington), where I live with my amazing husband Micah, our baby girl Mia, and our senior lab-pittie mix, Jess. Outside of work, I love a good farmers market, discovering new local coffee shops, and soaking up time every bit of time with my little family.

What is the most rewarding part of your role?
I love being the engine behind the scenes—part of the reason things run smoothly, even if our customers never know my name. It’s rewarding to untangle a messy or disjointed process and turn it into something clean and scalable, especially knowing it frees up my team to focus on what matters most (our customers!).
How long have you been at FlexPoint?
Just over 8 months!
What does a work day look like for you?
My days vary a lot, but they’re mostly centered around building and improving the processes and tools our CS team relies on. That could mean fixing a broken integration, building out a new playbook or SOP, or partnering with other teams to make things run smoother.
What’s your favorite part of working at FlexPoint?
The people, hands down. I’ve got a great team around me and genuinely feel supported here. The flexibility has also been huge—being trusted to manage my own time, with the occasional guest appearance from my mini assistant on work calls, has made all the difference as a first-time mom.
What’s something you’ve learned either from a fellow team member or naturally from your time at FlexPoint?
Honestly, I knew nothing about MSPs or Accounts Receivable when I joined FlexPoint—total blank slate. I leaned on my team a lot to learn the space and our customer base, and it’s been a good lesson in staying curious and not being afraid to ask ‘basic’ questions (like, what the heck is a credit memo?).
What are you most proud of?
No doubt, standing up FlexPoint University, our product academy built to power self-serve onboarding! I love that it’s given our customers a way to ramp up on their own timeline, and has also become a great deep-dive resource for new team members.
What are some hobbies or initiatives you are dedicated to?
Lately I’ve been getting back into hobbies I used to do with my grandma growing up: gardening, scrapbooking, and sewing. She lives back home in Kansas, so it’s been a really special way to reconnect with her from afar. Unrelated: we’re also massive college football fans in this household. Boomer Sooner, baby!

Some of your favorite things?
Food: Lamb gyro with extraaa tzatziki and a side of dolmas
TV Show: Right now, probably Dawson’s Creek (it was filmed here in Wilmington!)
Game: Codenames
Destination: Bern, Switzerland (the sound of cows & church bells will heal your soul, I promise)
