I’m Allen Thompson, an Account Executive here at FlexPoint. I’m based in Raleigh, North Carolina, originally from San Diego. I’m married with a teenage son and two young daughters. Outside of work, I enjoy lifting weights, spending time with my family, and new experiences.

What is the most rewarding part of your role?

Helping MSPs solve real problems and knowing I played a part in helping them improve their business.

How long have you been at FlexPoint?

I started on February 7, 2023, so it has been 2 years and 5 months.

What does a work day look like for you?

My day is spent running demos, following up with prospects, and collaborating with Onboarding, Support, and the sales team to better serve our partners.

What’s your favorite part of working at FlexPoint?

The people and the flexibility. Everyone works together, and we are constantly reminded that every role contributes to the company’s success.

What’s something you’ve learned at FlexPoint?

Simplicity is what people value most. We are solving real world, complex problems, but in a simple and clear way.

What is your biggest accomplishment so far or what are you most proud of?

I’m proud of the company’s growth, from the platform to the team. We have built a culture that celebrates individual, team, and company wins.

What are hobbies or initiatives you are dedicated to?

I spend most of my time with my family. I also enjoy music concerts, working out, and traveling to new places when I can.

Some of your favorite things?

Too many to choose from for my favorite food, but Hawaiian food and a San Diego-style California burrito are definitely at the top of the list. And my favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption.
