TAZ Networks wanted a centralized invoicing platform to reduce its invoicing burden

Gaby Patterson, Accountant at TAZ Networks, was burning time chasing past-due payments and re-sending invoices to clients — and the issue was compounding. TAZ had accumulated a sizable past-due statement, and clients had nowhere to go to look for their own invoices. Emails came in almost nonstop.

Gaby decided a client portal would eliminate the manual work of sending QuickBooks statements and reduce fees by offering automated payments.

Invoices can get incredibly involved, but TAZ’s clients can use the portal to view the breakdown of different services and items by themselves — which they’d much rather do than talk to an accountant. Instead, they use the passwordless portal and access their invoices on their own time. This was particularly helpful for larger clients, who were more at risk of invoices getting lost in their large volumes of mail.

Clients also like the convenience of storing their credit card information in the portal’s AutoPay option. Doing so makes their monthly payments more efficient while eliminating invoicing work for Gaby. And no intermediary knows their credit card information, making clients feel far more secure.

Because FlexPoint standardizes the invoicing and payment processes, Gaby doesn’t have to send individual invoices from QuickBooks or grapple with each client’s preferred payment method.
