Meet Zane, our Senior Business Development Representative

Hi, I'm Zane Dudek and I am currently a Senior BDR here at FlexPoint! I am based in Kittanning, PA, about 45miles north of Pittsburgh. I live with my gorgeous wife, Stephanie, and our two dogs (Ziggy and Millie) and two cats (Charlie and Remy). I have a great group of best friends that I’ve had for years that I still get to see all the time, watch sports with, and golf with.

What is the most rewarding part of your role?

‍The most rewarding part of my role is being able to help MSPs save so much time and money. Cash flow is the most important aspect in business, so to help a company get paid faster, save them time, and improve their cash flow is a great feeling.

 

How long have you been here?

I have been here just over a year now! I started June 3rd, 2024 to be exact.

What does a work day look like for you?

I start the day by looking at all the demos that I have scheduled to get ahead and make sure they’ve accepted the invitation to meet with our Account Executives. Then I check for all my follow ups to reach out to. After that, it is a mix of cold calls, follow up calls, replying to emails, or sending out emails. Also, I am doing research on the MSPs that I am reaching out to. Ultimately, I am trying to get MSPs to check out our solution here at FlexPoint and to teach them how much value our solution can add to their billing process. I then wrap the day by getting notes from our Account Executives on all of the demos that I scheduled for them that day.

What’s your favorite part of working at FlexPoint?

My favorite part of working at FlexPoint is the people at the company. Every single person, from our Co-Founders to the Product Team to the Sales team and everyone in between, cares about each other’s success. Everyone is always willing to help or answer any questions someone might have. Then everyone is focused on the company’s success. We all believe in FlexPoint and will do everything we can to make it the best payment solution out there.

What’s something you’ve learned at FlexPoint?

Building long-lasting relationships is a value I’ve learned from many different fellow team members here at FlexPoint. Whether it be for a demo on the calendar, a demo in 4-5 months, or just for possible referrals, the most important thing in this position is to build good relationships with everyone in this business.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of how I came into this position with no background at all in sales and tech      and have succeeded. I had to be like a sponge my first few months and soak in every little thing that my fellow team members taught me. I took this position on as a challenge, and I have learned so much and worked so hard to get to where I am today.

What are hobbies or initiatives you are dedicated to?

Spending time with my wife and our pups is my favorite thing to do. My wife and I love checking out wineries and trying new wine or spending a quiet night in on the couch with our pups, relaxing and watching tv shows or movies. I played football at Yale, so during the fall, every single Saturday and Sunday, I am glued to the TV watching football. Along with that, I love being able to get out to golf with my dad or my buddies.

Some of your favorite things? 

I am a HUGE Marvel nerd, so I love every Marvel movie. Infinity War is my absolute favorite      out of the bunch, but I can watch any Marvel movie or tv show anytime. I love to golf. I have been golfing with my dad since I was 13 and almost all of my best friends are very good golfers, so it is always super competitive because I am as competitive as they come.Also, I am a massive Suits fan. I have rewatched Suits at least 5 times. My favorite destination is Punta Cana. That’s where I proposed to my wife, and the resorts there are absolutely gorgeous.
